Evelyn Ochman, JD, MS
Evelyn Ochman, JD, MS, is a lawyer, positive psychology coach, and nutritionist. She received her JD from The George Washington University Law School and her Masters in Nutrition and Education from Teachers College at Columbia University. Evelyn serves as an advocate, community organizer, educator, and member of several nonprofit boards dedicated to improving the social, emotional, and physical health and overall well-being of adults and children.
Evelyn strongly believes that educating diverse populations about foods and nutrition is a key component to actualizing better health. As a Board Member and Co-Chair of the nutrition committee for her local farmers market, she inspires others to appreciate the richness, flavor, and diversity of foods – that non-ultra-processed foods can be satisfying, bring joy, as well as be nutritious.
She is the creator of The Alley-Oop Wellness Program™️, a digital nutrition and wellness program to promote healthy eating, wellness, and stress reduction. It is employed by community colleges and inner-city athletic wellness programs for adults and adolescents. Evelyn knows that wellness is not just for corporate America. She is committed to bringing wellness to the nation from early childhood to late adulthood, highlighting the relationship between food quality and mental health.
